Brian Zagorites is a Master Builder educated in architecture through Roger Williams University and experienced in the field of construction for the past 25+ years. He taught design and autocad at the Boston School of Art and Design. Brian has designed for television personalities and appeared on MTV Cribs. Locally, he designed for Mish Michaels the channel 5 news anchor out of Boston. Melissa Zagorites is educated and experienced in lighting and interior design. She designed for and appeared on over 20 episodes of This Old House WGBH, designed for Norm Abrams personal residence and wrote the chapter "Let There Be Light" in his book Norm Abrams New House. Brian and Melissa have been the designers for exclusive residences all over the country.
Sixteen years ago, The Zagorites' founded Arclight (1995-2011). Arclight was an exclusive 20,000 square foot high end design paradise in Southern New Hampshire. The Design Gallery by Arclight offered design and build, interior design and lighting design services. Also, an incredible "boutique on steroids", Arclight showcased beautiful products of all styles from around the world. From kitchens and bathrooms, to flooring, high end lighting, furniture, custom linens, art, mirrors, and other unique decoration. In order to concentrate more fully on their real passion, design and build, Brian and Melissa have chosen to sell off Arclight's retail products in 2011.
Over the past 17 years, team Zagorites, through Arclight, designed, built and contributed to the designs of thousands of projects. Their knowledge of myriad materials for the residential and light commercial market elevates their finished product beyond categorization. Brian and Melissa's unique and extensive experience affords them the ability to accommodate a true diversity of tastes.
